I had a pretty nice stay at the Fairfield Inn. the location was ideal, just a reasonable walk to the French Quarter and other attractions. The room was large and clean, but I did experience some noise from the street outside that disrupted my sleep a couple of times. Overall, the friendly staff, especially Kelly, truly enhanced my visit.

Rooms

The room was large and clean. really comfy bed and pillows. I enjoyed the microwave and safe in the room, but the lighting over the sink was pretty dim for getting ready in the morning.
Service
8.0
The staff was mostly pleasant. Kelly was exceptionally helpful with directions and recommendations. He really made me feel welcome, though I encountered a staff member who seemed preoccupied during my check-in.
Location

The hotel's location was fantastic. it was conveniently close to Canal Street and many attractions within walking distance. However, I found the noise from outside a bit distracting at times.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated the variety at breakfast, including waffles and eggs. but I noticed some of the fruit looked past its prime. There were moldy bagels, which I mentioned to the staff, and they promptly took care of it, though it was a bit disappointing.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were good, with housekeeping and other services. I found the bar area nice, though they were often out of lower-priced wines. The coffee bar had some hiccups during my stay, but overall it was manageable.

5.4/10

I had a mixed experience at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in New Orleans. While the location was perfect for exploring the French Quarter and the breakfast options were good, I encountered serious issues with my room security and communication from the staff. Unfortunately, these problems overshadowed some of the positives.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had very high ceilings and a cool open design, which I really liked. However, the shower had a leaking door, making the bathroom a bit of a mess after use. The overall cleanliness was fine, but the lighting was a hassle due to a bright night light that couldn't be turned off, which disturbed my sleep.
Service
5.0
The staff was generally friendly, but I experienced an issue with management communication regarding my room's security. Despite assurances that the door would be fixed after it was left open, the problem persisted, which left me feeling quite uneasy. Additionally, my request for a small courtesy was declined, which was disappointing.
Location

I appreciated the hotel's location, just a short walk from the French Quarter, making it convenient to explore the area without the noise of being right next to it. The area felt quiet, perfect for resting after a busy day.
Dining
8.0
The grab-and-go breakfast had many options, and I enjoyed the variety of food. It was particularly nice to have a decent selection of both hot and cold meals, although I'd love to see more hot options than just eggs in the future.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, with quick elevators and helpful housekeeping. However, I did find the luggage carts to be in poor condition, which made handling my luggage more difficult than it should have been.

My stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites in New Orleans was pretty good overall. The room was spacious and clean, with modern decor and nice amenities. The breakfast was standard but satisfactory, though I wish they offered some complimentary water at check-in. The hotel’s location was ideal for exploring, but noise from nearby street construction was a bit disruptive.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating, making my experience more enjoyable. They were helpful with questions about the area too.
Location
8.0
The location is smack in the middle of all the action, making it easy to walk to the French Quarter and other spots in downtown New Orleans.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast had a decent variety of options, including some good hot foods and fresh fruits, though it could be improved with more variety daily.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were fine, but valet parking was a hassle and pretty expensive at $38 per day. It would be better to find options nearby like the garage across the street.

I had a pretty solid stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in New Orleans. The hotel was nicely decorated and the staff was friendly and helpful, which added a welcoming touch. However, the WiFi was a bit spotty and the breakfast options could be better. Overall, I would give it a good rating considering the good location and comfortable rooms.

My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable overall, with its modern and clean rooms, an excellent location near the French Quarter, and a good breakfast. However, I did encounter some noise disturbances from the hallway and outside, which was a bit disruptive. The lobby felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel, but that didn't overshadow my experience too much.

Rooms
9.0
The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge and microwave. I appreciated the comfortable beds and updated bathroom, though I found the lighting a bit lacking.
Service
8.0
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I appreciated their attentiveness, but I did have an issue when I needed to notify them about the coffee bar being out of cups; the response felt a bit dismissive.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk from the bustling French Quarter, yet in a quieter area of the CBD. This made it easy to explore while avoiding the noise of the nightlife.
Dining
8.0
I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options. There were good choices available, and it definitely fueled my mornings for all the sightseeing.
Facilities
7.0
While the facilities felt overall adequate, I did think the elevators could use an upgrade to match the modern status of the hotel. The lobby's condition also seemed a bit worn compared to the rest of the hotel.
